Note:
During water classes 2 lanes are available for adults to lap swim (please share lanes).
The pool is not closed during swim team practice; 2-3 lanes are available for club members.
The pool closes 30 minutes prior to the fitness club closing time.


CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


Water Pilates:
Just like Pilates on land, strengthens central core abdominal muscles improving balance. The water provides a more gravity free environment making some of the movements less stressful while allowing a full range of motion. Fantastic for increasing balance & coordination.

Water Aerobics:
Excellent cardio workout! The almost gravity free environment is less stressful on the body. The resistance of the water works to increase strength.

Water Stretch:
Great for improving balance & flexibility. The water is wonderful for moving the body through full range of motion stretches.

Water Arthritis:
Good cardio workout. Gently works all the muscles through their full range of motion. Easy on shoulders & hips. Helps with balance & increases joint flexibility.

Slow & Easy Water Arthritis:
Low intensity water aerobics, using water bells, noodles & slow stretching exercises.

Water Cycling:
We ride bicycles (noodles) & use water bells for upper arm conditioning.

LOW INTENSITY ARTHRITIS & STRETCH & STRENGTH:
Low intensity water aerobics, using water bells, noodles & slow stretching exercises.

Water Aerobics:
A moderatly fast paced class. Targeting all areas of the body, using various exercises. We use water weights for a portion of the class, concentrating on arms, muscle tone and upper body strength. Plenty of cardio sets for a healthy heart.
