CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


Pilates:
A unique method of body control and conditioning, stretching & strengthening the muscle while improving flexibility and balance. The focus is primarily on strengthening the central core and using the abdominal muscles to control the movements. Pilates works to stretch and lengthen the muscles, allowing the body to become stronger & firmer, without building bulk. It teaches you to focus the mind as you exercise the body, gradually improving your coordination, body awareness, flexibility, and overall alignment.

Fitball Aerobics:
A great alternative to other aerobics classes, with less stress on the knees & hips. The ball is great for strengthening central core abdominal muscles and improving balance & coodination. Excellent cardio workout!

Fitball Interval Aerobics:
Fitball Aerobics with intervals of Body sculpting using the central core abdominal muscles for balance & stability. Thoroughly works all the muscles in the body, increasing endurance, strength & coordination.

Line Dance Aerobics:
Fun cardio workout! Great for both your mind & body! Learn New line dances & do some of the "Old Favorites" too!

Stretch:
A wonderful reward for your mind & body especially after a good workout. Increases flexibility, which helps decrease the chance of injury during exercise.

Yoga:
Multi-level class. Flexibility, strength, balance, focus. Beginners welcome.

Floor Aerobics:
20-25 minutes of low-impact cardio training. Body sculpting with 3-5 lb weights, exercise bands & weighted balls. Improves coordination, balance & muscle strength.

Basic Step Aerobics:
Cardio workout. Can be modified to suit beginner to advanced. Concludes with a brief abdominal workout.

Boot Camp:
High Intensity workout that utilizes resistance bands, body weight exercise & plyometrics.

Body Sculpting:
Toning exercises using weights, exercise bands & fitness balls.

Step Aerobics:
Fun, Low-Impact, High Energy step class using Intermediate to advanced choreographed steps.

Interval Sculpting:
High Intensity cardio paired with freeweight resistance training. Improves endurance & strength.

Advanced Step Aerobics:
High Intensity cardio training class utilizing a step & advanced choreographed movements. Improves endurance.

Salsa Aerobics:
30 minutes of Low Impact - High Intensity Aerobics moving to a Latin Beat.

High Impact Aerobics
45 minutes of High Intensity High Impact Aerobics.

Senior Mix
30 minutes of Interval aerobics combining Fit Ball, Bands, Weights, Circle, Weighted Ball & Body Sculpting.
